Alan Kain designs and manufactures bespoke furniture from native Scottish hardwoods. Alan’s business encompasses all aspects of timber production from felling, milling on his sawmill, seasoning and kiln drying the majority of the Scottish hardwoods he uses. This ensures that Alan has control over the quality of the materials used in the construction of his furniture.
The majority of Alan Kain’s assignments stem from private commissions and the provision of pieces to retail outlets throughout Scotland. The list below is a sample of other agencies and organisations that have benefited from Alan’s artistic skills.
